Roosters vs Tigers Preview By Dean

Week 17 ends with two teams going up against each other, both of which have won their previous two matchups. Unfortunately, for the Tigers, that’s where the similarities end I’m afraid. Yes, there has been great improvement from them over the last two weeks, but both of those wins came at home. They have been dreadful on the road this season, picking up just one win from seven. The Tigers also have a terrible record against the Roosters to contend with, having won just one of their previous eight meetings. They have also only won once in Sydney against the Roosters since 2010!

So, the question here appears to be how many will the Roosters win by? My guess is the bookmakers have called this one right, meaning it could go either way. The Tigers will look to try and keep things tight, especially early on, and given the fact that the bookmakers have set such a huge total here, I’m going to back unders. The Roosters’ last three games have all gone under the total set here, and only one of the previous four meetings between them has gone over.
