Port Adelaide v St Kilda Preview, Adelaide Oval

Two of the more disappointing performers of round six. After flying out of the blocks with a dominant first quarter, Port Adelaide were humbled by Collingwood. It again threw up the question – is the Power good enough against the best teams? But they will return to their home comforts with an opportunity to bury a struggling opponent. St Kilda weren’t just humbled, they were embarrassed by the fired-up Western Bulldogs. The flat performance can be attributed to a gruelling schedule of three games in 11 days, two of those on the road.

Coach Ross Lyon would be desperate to avoid another poor effort after last year’s finalists slipped to 2-4. The Saints’ overall record at the Adelaide Oval is poor.
