NRL Round 19 Preview By Dean McHugh

12 July, 2024

Hey folks, a very up and down week last week. We started the week off well landing a couple of wins including our bet of the week. However, things kind of went south from there as we missed out on a couple of bets landing by fine margins. It’s a reduced game week this week which gives us more time to focus on the matches and hopefully pick plenty of winners.

Sharks vs Tigers Preview by Dean McHugh

The wheels have well and truly fallen off of the Sharks in recent weeks, and they now find themselves trying to cling onto fourth spot and secure a home fixture in the playoffs. However, with that said you could argue they have been slightly unlucky in losing their last three as they have lost by margins of two, one and four. For me, it shows a team that has lost its confidence.

If there was ever a team to play against to regain your confidence, it would be the Tigers, who are rooted to the bottom of the ladder. After a mini-revival recently, they were put back in their place by the Roosters and the Storm over the last two weeks, conceding 40 points in both defeats.

Although the Tigers thumped the Sharks in round three, they have a pretty poor record against them, losing the previous four encounters before that win. They have also lost on four of their last five visits to the PointsBet Stadium. The Sharks will be out for revenge in this one, and I see them gaining it.
