Geelong v Essendon

Geelong has bullied Essendon in recent times so this is a golden opportunity for the
Bombers to get one back and solidify their top-four prospects. Tom Hawkins is out for at
least six weeks after suffering a potentially career-ending foot injury. The Cats were
embarrassed by Carlton last Friday night to continue a damning run of form – six defeats
from their last seven games. Essendon doesn’t have the best midfield in the AFL on paper
but it’s doing a lot right and Geelong’s on-ball bridge is struggling badly.

TIP: Essendon by 19 points, Zach Merrett for 25 or more possessions
