Broncos vs Sharks Preview by Dean McHugh

Saturday ends with the tie of the round as the Broncos host the Sharks in Brisbane. Both teams tasted defeat last time out and will be eager to put the losses behind them. They will also both have key figures missing for them too due to the State of Origin match up this week. You never want to be missing key players but perhaps it’s best to happen when your opponents are in the same boat like we have here.

The Broncos have lost two in a row at the Suncorp and they will be hoping their solid recent history against the Sharks will aid them in avoiding a third straight defeat. Brisbane has won three of the last four meetings between these teams and their record in Brisbane is even more impressive as they have won five of the last six between them on home soil. 

The Sharks have looked a shadow of themselves in recent weeks, and I’m backing the Broncos to inflict a third straight loss on Cronulla.
