Adelaide’s season is almost shot after being blown away by Richmond last week to extend
their losing streak at the MCG. The Crows have slumped to 4-1-7 and captain Jordan
Dawson is battling a foot complaint. If they can’t take care of injury-hit Richmond, questions
will really start to be asked of coach Matthew Nicks. Richmond head to Adelaide on a
five-day break after a brave performance in Geelong. Superstar Dustin Martin has been
rested for the trip so he can play his 300th game at the MCG the following week. But the
Tigers do regain star midfielders Tim Taranto, Shai Bolton and Dion Prestia.
